St. Johnsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

The Activities Department at St. Johnsville Rehabilitation and Nursing
Center offers a variety of programs daily. Some activities include games
such as:

Bowling, Bingo, different Ballgames, Trivia and Word games.

We offer social activities that include:

Memory lane, men's group, women's group, coffee hours,
birthday parties, baby showers and happy hour.

Religious programming includes worship services for different
denominations, Catholic mass, communion, Bible study and stories.We
enjoy trips out of the facility for shopping, out to eat, and special
seasonal trips for fall foliage and Christmas lights, etc.
Some clubs include history club, nature group, travel club and garden
group.

We have musical entertainment several times monthly.
Also we plan special events several times a year. Examples of this type
of activity would be our "senior"prom we held in May 2007 and the Fall
Fest for October 2007.

Our activities room is spacious and filled with things to do: books,
games, puzzles, music, computer games, a large screen television and
a beautiful aviary.
Many of our residents just enjoy socializing there or on our canopied
patio.

Family members are always encouraged to join their loved ones in
activities.

Here in the Activities Department, we pride ourselves on providing a
vital piece of the quality of life that is offered to every resident at St.
Johnsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. We strive to have
something for everyone.
