Q.  Does St. Johnsville Rehab and Nursing Center have a separate "dementia" unit?
A.  No. We  do not separate our residents based upon the level of their needs; our resident population is
evenly dispersed throughout the facility.
Q.  Is there licensed staff available around the clock for my loved one?
A. Yes. Skilled licensed nursing personnel are available 24 hours per day to meet the needs of all of our
residents.
Q.  Do I have to find a new doctor for my loved one after they have been admitted?
A.  No. Our facility provides a Board-Certified Medical Director who specializes in geriatric medicine to meet
the medical needs of all our residents throughout their stay.
Q.  Do I need to provide my own medications during my stay at STJRNC?
A.  No. Our facility contracts with an outside pharmacy that will provide your medications as prescribed by
the medical director in conjunction with your designated insurance carrier.
