November 11, 2011 a day to honor American Veterans of all wars. The American Legion of St.
Johnsville came to the facility to make this Veterans day special for our men and women. The
Legion members handed out American flags, said a prayer, showed a short video from the
memorial day parade and the firing of the arms outside the Activities window.
The Legion members all made sure to walk around the room to shake the hands and thank our
hero's for their service to our country.
It was this truly genuine act of appreciation that touched them deeply!
In the afternoon, two of the Legion members came back to thank a fellow veteran who was
unable to make the earlier service because of an outside appointment.
Once again, making the day of a fellow Veteran.
