| WHEELCHAIR DECORATING CONTEST 2011 |
On January 23rd the facility had a Wheelchair Decorating Contest. The residents choose the theme
for their wheelchairs and the Activities Department helped them to bring it to life. We had many
creative ideas from mother nature, rock and roll chair, Hawaiian chair and even a fish tank chair.
After they were decorated, we had a parade around the facility. Everyone enjoyed watching all the
different chairs.
The winners were: 1st place: Clara Cross as Mother Nature, 2nd Place: Carmen Marrero in her
Hawaiian Chair and 3rd. Place: Wava Crowell as a Rock and Roll Chair.
